BI Corner

BI Corner adalah fasilitas layanan atas kerjasama BI Kantor Perwakilan Kota Surakarta dengan Purpustakaan UMS. BI Corner merupakan program berkelanjutan BI dengan tujuan edukasi kepada masyarakat. BI menaruh koleksi-koleksinya di Perpustakaan UMS Lantai 1 sebagai bentuk kepedulian literasi terhadap masyarakat Indonesia, dan juga sebagai sarana edukasi. Adapun sasaran penempatan BI Corner di sejumlah universitas dengan perhitungan sebagai lokasi paling strategis untuk menginformasikan mengenai ekonomi dan perbankan, termasuk kebanksentralan terhadap anak muda. Masyarkat kampus adalah mahasiswa merupakan generasi penerus bangsa sehingga pemahaman dan wawasan mahasiswa perlu terus diperluas termasuk soal perbankan.

Koleksi-koleksi BI Corner juga dilengkapi dengan fasilitas seperangkat komputer, televisi, sofa sebagai tempat membaca serta rak yang menawan. Perlu menjadi perhatian bahwa koleksi-koleksi yang berada di Perpustakaan UMS hanya bisa di baca di tempat atau di fotocopy saja. BI Corner is a service facility in cooperation of BI Representative Office of Surakarta City with Purpustakaan UMS. BI Corner is a sustainable BI program with the goal of education to the public. BI puts its collections in the Library UMS Level 1 as a form of literacy concern for the people of Indonesia, and also as a means of education. The target of BI Corner placement in a number of universities in the most strategic location is to inform the economy and banking, including bank-centralized to young people. Campus community is a student as the next generation of the nation so the understanding and insight of students need to continue to expand, including banking.

BI Corner collections are also equipped with a set of computer facilities, television, sofa as a reading place and a charming shelf. It should be noted that the collections in the UMS Library can only be read on the spot or in photocopy only.
